On May 27, organized by the Sichuan Provincial Association for the Promotion of Traditional Chinese Medicine Development, a group of Spanish students visited our hospital's Rehabilitation Department to experience TCM culture up close and appreciate the unique charm of the national intangible cultural heritage "Li Zhongyu Chuzhen (Pestle Needle) Therapy."

During the event, rehabilitation doctors explained the characteristics of Chuzhen Therapy in an easy-to-understand manner — "without piercing the skin, it unblocks meridians through tapping, lifting, and opening-closing techniques." Subsequently, under the guidance of experts, the students experienced Chuzhen Therapy firsthand and expressed that they "felt very relaxed and found it truly amazing."

In addition, the Spanish students also sampled wellness herbal teas developed by the university's Research and Transformation Center for Medicinal and Food Substances, showing great interest in the TCM concept of "medicine and food sharing the same origin."
