On April 26 and May 16, Zhang Xuemei, a doctor from the Department of Critical Care Medicine at our hospital and a member of the fourth China-aided TCM medical team to Cambodia, traveled to enterprises in Preah Sihanouk and Kampong Speu provinces to provide TCM services to frontline workers. At a power plant in Sihanoukville, she offered TCM herbal treatments, health education, breathing exercises, and Baduanjin guidance to patients with bronchial asthma, helping them adopt an integrated management approach combining TCM and Western medicine. At a can-making plant in Kampong Speu, she treated common pain conditions with acupuncture, Yunnan Baiyao spray, and other simple, effective, and affordable TCM methods, serving both employees and nearby villagers. Over the two free clinics, the team reached hundreds of people, embodying the spirit of Chinese medical aid abroad. Zhang reiterated her commitment to reaching more grassroots communities in Cambodia with the healing wisdom of TCM.
