On May 28, a delegation led by Dr. Trần Văn Thuấn, Vice Minister of Health of Vietnam and Chairman of the National Medical Council, visited our hospital for exchanges and discussions.

The Vietnamese delegation raised questions on topics such as the examination process for licensed TCM practitioners, the curriculum design for TCM doctoral programs, the standardized training model for resident physicians, and the scope of practice for integrated Chinese and Western medicine. Our hospital's experts provided detailed responses to each question. Both sides also had in-depth exchanges on the research and production of hospital-prepared herbal preparations, as well as TCM approaches to cancer treatment. After the meeting, the delegation visited our hospital's Gynecology Department (HIFU Center), where they learned about the clinical application of high-intensity focused ultrasound technology and discussed with the center's experts the integration of TCM with HIFU techniques.
