On July 15, the Closing Ceremony of the "I'm Learning TCM in Sichuan – Traditional Chinese Medicine (Pestle Needle Therapy) Academic & Cultural Exchange Program" was held at our hospital. The program was sponsored by the Sichuan Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and organized by the Sichuan Development Service Center for TCM, the Sichuan Institute of Chinese Medicine, and our hospital.

Fifty participants from New Zealand, Spain, South Africa, the Republic of Korea, and other countries completed the intensive program, which focused on Pestle Needle Therapy – a national intangible cultural heritage. The curriculum integrated theoretical training, clinical practice, and cultural experiences including Baduanjin, museum tours, and herbal market visits.

Distinguished guests including Ms. Chen Ying (Sichuan Administration of TCM), Ms. Feng Li (New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine), and Prof. Chen Qiu (our hospital) attended the ceremony and presented certificates to all participants.

In their speeches, guests praised the participants' dedication and encouraged them to become global ambassadors for TCM. Spanish participant Javier shared his gratitude and commitment to applying the knowledge in his practice.

The event concluded with a vibrant Baduanjin performance and cultural showcases, highlighting the spirit of cross-cultural exchange. This program marks another milestone in promoting Sichuan-style TCM internationally and strengthening traditional medicine cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
