On November 13, 2024, Mr. Nguyen，Director of Traditional Medicine Administration, Vietnam Ministry of Health, led a delegation of the Administration to visit our hospital. Leaders of our hospital held a welcome meeting with the delegation.

Mr. Tang Jianyuan, Vice President of our hospital, extended a warm welcome to the delegation, briefly introduced the hospital to the delegation and reviewed the many exchanges between the hospital and the Vietnamese traditional medicine community this year. He said that he looked forward to further deepening the friendship between the two sides through today’s exchange and opening a new chapter of practical and effective cooperation between our hospital and relevant Vietnamese hospitals in the field of traditional medicine.

Mr. Nguyen expressed his thanks for our warm reception, briefly introduced Vietnam’s emphasis on and support for the development of traditional medicine in terms of policy, culture and education, and shared the general situation of the development of traditional medicine in Vietnam. He hoped that through this visit, the two sides will strengthen international exchanges in personnel training, academic research and other aspects, and deepen bilateral cooperation in the field of traditional medicine.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the TCM Preventive Center, the Pharmacy, and the Diabetes Center, experienced the pestle needle therapy, and had in-depth exchanges with experts of our hospital on TCM preparations, medical teaching and teacher training.
