On Aug. 24, 2024, the third Chinese medical team sent to assist Cambodia held a free clinic in the Cambodian-Chinese Buddha Education Society community in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

Guo Hang, attending physician of the Acupuncture Department of our hospital, and Chen Zhiyou, chief nurse of the ICU of our hospital, are members of the third Chinese medical team sent to assist Cambodia. They joined the team to provide free medical services to locals.

Guo Hang and Chen Zhiyou arrived in Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia, on July 2 to carry out the one-year medical aid mission. In their daily work, in addition to providing medical services to locals, they also actively promote traditional Chinese medicine technology and introduce traditional Chinese medicine culture, which has won praise from the local people.

The two specialists said that this year is the “Cambodia-China People-to-People Exchange Year,” they are deeply honored to participate in the medical assistance work on behalf of our hospital, and they will go to the rural areas of Cambodia to serve more local patients.
