On March 25, our hospital hosted the NKF CHINA VOICE Diabetic Kidney Disease Academic Salon. Vice President Chen Qiu attended the conference and delivered a speech. Renowned experts from home and abroad, including Professor Csaba Pal Kovesdy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and Professor Chen Jin from Sichuan Provincial People’s Hospital, were invited to give keynote presentations. The meeting focused on the standardized diagnosis and treatment of diabetic kidney disease and chronic kidney disease, as well as the latest advances in integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Experts and scholars shared clinical experience and research achievements, reaching several consensus on diagnosis and treatment. Hu Qiongdan, Director of the Nephrology Department, delivered the concluding remarks. After the meeting, the attending experts visited the nephrology ward and spoke highly of the hospital’s distinctive integrated medicine techniques and management systems. The conference established a high-level academic exchange platform and effectively promoted the high-quality development of the nephrology discipline at our hospital.
