On September 10, the "2025 Sichuan-South and Southeast Asia Business Development Cooperation Conference," organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Sichuan Committee, opened in Chengdu. During the conference, the "Sichuan Traditional Chinese Medicine" exhibition, guided by the Sichuan Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and hosted by our hospital, was held simultaneously. Under the theme "Explore the Hometown of TCM, Discover the Treasure Trove of Chinese Medicine," the exhibition showcased the profound heritage and innovative achievements of Sichuan's TCM to government agencies, embassies and consulates in China, business associations, and corporate representatives from 14 countries and regions in South and Southeast Asia.

The exhibition focused on the national intangible cultural heritage—Li Zhongyu's Pestle Needle Therapy—and featured a dedicated exhibition area. Through physical displays, video presentations, and on-site experiential activities, the event comprehensively highlighted the cultural charm and clinical value of Sichuan's TCM. During the exhibition, our hospital’s Pestle Needle team provided on-site diagnostic and wellness experiences, attracting numerous foreign guests who queued up to participate. As a non-invasive external TCM therapy, Pestle Needle Therapy stimulates meridian points through unique techniques, achieving effects such as relieving fatigue and preventing diseases. It received high praise from international guests. After experiencing the therapy, distinguished attendees including Mr. Imiyarachige Don Ranjit Laksiri, Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka-China Business Cooperation Council; Mr. Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti, Secretary General of the SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Pakistan; and Mr. Muhammad Aqmar Bin Abdul Wahab, Consul General of Malaysia in Kunming, expressed that Pestle Needle Therapy was remarkably relaxing and effective. They also left words of praise in the guestbook.

This exhibition served not only as a concentrated display of Sichuan's TCM culture but also as a crucial platform for deepening cooperation between Sichuan and South and Southeast Asian countries in the field of traditional medicine. Through immersive experiences and cultural dissemination, it further enhanced the international community's understanding and trust in Sichuan's TCM, laying a solid foundation for our hospital’s future international collaborations. The "2025 Sichuan-South and Southeast Asia Business Development Cooperation Conference," under the theme "Moving Forward Together for Shared Prosperity: Building a New Pattern of Industrial and Supply Chain Synergy," aimed to strengthen economic, trade, and cultural exchanges between Sichuan and South and Southeast Asia. Through this TCM exhibition, our hospital successfully conveyed the unique charm and contemporary value of Sichuan's TCM to the world, contributing Sichuan’s strength to building a global community of health for all.
