On June 8, 2024, at the invitation of New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine, Professor Fan Xiaohong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, led a delegation to New Zealand for academic visit.

At the TCM Acupuncture and Moxibustion Forum and Cultural Exhibition, which was part of the event of Belt & Road Tour on Acupuncture-Moxibustion of World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) in Auckland, New Zealand, Professor Fan Xiaohong signed Academic Exchange and Cooperation Agreement with Xu Zhifeng, President of New Zealand College of Chinese Medicine.
The forum and exhibition was also attended by Liu Baoyan, President of WFAS, Wang Guochen, Vice President and Secretary General of the Chinese Society of Chinese Medicine, Lu Nan, Member of the New Zealand Parliament (National Party), Paddy McBride, Chairman of the New Zealand Chinese Medicine Council, Robin Kerr, Vice President of WFAS, President of the New Zealand Acupuncture and Moxibustion Association, and member of the New Zealand Allied Health Committee et al.

At the forum, Fan Xiaohong made a report entitled “Overall Research Progress and Standardization Research of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Pestle Needle Therapy,” and demonstrated the operational skills of pestle needle therapy. The guests expressed their great interest, and had detailed exchanges with the delegation on international promotion of pestle needle therapy.
