On August 6, 2024, Professor Marcin Grzegorzek from the University of Lübeck in Germany led a research team to visit our hospital.

The two sides exchanged views on the application of AI in the clinical research field of TCM, the research and development of smart wearable devices, and the training of international talents, and reached a preliminary intention on further cooperation.

Chen Qiu, Vice President of our hospital, accompanied Professor Marcin Grzegorzek and his team to visit the National TCM Clinical Research (Diabetes) Base.

Professor Marcin Grzegorzek is Director of the Laboratory for Medical Data Science at the University of Lübeck, Director of the Department of AI Research on Assisted Medical Technology at the German AI Research Center, and co-founder of a German AI software company. His research focuses on the application of AI to automated analysis of medical and health data. For his outstanding contributions in the field of research, Professor Marcin Grzegorzek was awarded the North German Artificial Intelligence Prize in 2022.
